Our children are from low income families with financial difficulties. A lot of our children also come from single parent households. As their parents often work long hours to feed their family, the children are usually left unsupervised. Without parental guidance, the children are at an increased risk of succumbing to negative influences.
Xin Yuan Community Care cares for these children by providing them with free tuition to prevent them from dropping out of school and ensuring that they complete their primary and secondary school education. We believe that no child should be left behind.
Xin Yuan Community Care’s tuition and mentoring programme help children in improving their performance at school and to be more motivated to do their school work. We believe if children are better prepared today, they would be more able to handle the problems of the society tomorrow.
